Tate Bramald

Tate BramaldTate Bramald was a Principal Channel Partner for Systems Union, successfully selling, implementing and supporting installations of the world-famous SunSystems accounting software.

Markets

Tate Bramald had a close working relationship with the Charity Finance Directors’ Group, and the National Counsel for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Consequently, they became firmly established as a leading supplier of accounting solutions to the Charity and Not for Profit sectors; eventually having over 100 clients in this field. Those clients included Amnesty International, UNICEF UK and Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).

They also developed expertise in the Sports and Leisure sector, counting amongst their clients such high-profile names as the FA Premier League, the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Wembley Stadium, Virgin Active and the London Arena.

Expertise

Skilled in adapting the latest technology to provide new value-added services for its customers, in July 2000 Tate Bramald launched one of the first business intelligence solutions based entirely on standard Microsoft technology. Named netGenius, the solution enabled SunSystems to be integrated with other business applications. This was achieved through the use of a single data warehouse within which all relevant company data was held in a common format, and accessed via a browser-based web reporting tool.

Always striving to remain a progressive, modern company, Tate Bramald held regular product seminars and workshops to help customers keep up-to-date with the latest product developments, and to teach them tips, tricks and best practices for better utilisation of SunSystems. They also helped facilitate a large SunSystems user group that was run by its members.

In addition to standard support services they created eGenius, a self-service value-added information portal, allowing customers to access their own personalised, secure client pages. This gave them details of outstanding support calls, project statuses and financial details, together with news on Tate Bramald events and services and updates from the IT industry.
Also they were one of the first companies to offer a service whereby consultants would connect remotely, via the Internet, to a customer workstation to carry out support tasks. Thereby avoiding the more costly alternative of sending a consultant to the customers offices to resolve support issues.
